I'm probably not the best person to recount this party, unless you all would like a play by play account of my staggering/puking in the backyard. My apologies, guys, but just convince yourself it's fertilizer. It took a while to get off the ground, we had a hard time finding Shida's place and when we got there, the building was dead and I was skeptical. We found out that it had been moved to Kris and Jeremy's place and killed off about an hour of the night driving around La Jolla. The party started off very well, I found their refridgerated tap incredibly nifty and the brew was top notch. Being the lightweight I am, I eagerly accepted Kris's offer to make me a strong mixed drink that was supposed to immediately make me smashed...and it succeeded. I met a couple members from Of Montreal, and i drunkenly rambled about how cool the Koala is, and they (dumb bastards) compared us to the Onion. A large duration of the night was spent stealing Nichole's crutches (I think I stole them about 6 different times) and making dirty lesbian comments to any girls that made contact with eachother. The rest of it was simply a large blur of people, many of whom I distantly recognized and some of them who I had good conversations with. I almost passed out several times and I can recall almost nothing that happened from the hours of 2 am to around 5:30 am except that we ended up at a Mexican food restaurant and feasting on a California Burrito. 5 stars because core members of the Koala threw this party and we knew how to rage, even though I personally was about 1 and a half stars for once again doing a horrible job holding my liquor.
